NASBA/AIPCA Looking for Interested Parties to set the CPA Passing Scores
Monday June 5, 2023NASBA/AIPCA Looking for Interested Parties to set the CPA Passing Scores.
With the release of the 2024 Exam, changes in content, format and structure will be introduced. These changes will require new passing scores to be established. The process to do so will include convening six panels of CPAs – one for each Exam section – to provide the groundwork for the passing score decision by the AICPA Board of Examiners (BOE), a senior committee of the AICPA responsible for overall administration of the Exam and setting its passing score. The qualifications are:
- Have been licensed for at least two years
- Have supervised entry-level CPAs during the past year
- Have NO affiliation with CPA Examination review courses, and
- Be willing to participate in a December 2023/January 2024 1.5-day meeting in Ewing, NJ.
Interested licensees can find more information and the application or nomination form at https://aicpa.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_2cvZmXtCpZE3ksC
