Permit Refunds

Permit Refunds will be given based on the following:

1. Duplicate permits for the same scope of work will be refunded in full
2. Any overpayment on permit fees will be refunded in full once confirmation of overpayment has been verified and recorded by the inspector, supervisor or Program Manager.
3. Permits purchased out of DOPL’s jurisdiction will not be eligible for a refund unless there has been a recent city annexation or due to an internal proceeding error; in these circumstances, the fees paid will be refunded in full.
4. Jobs cancelled and requested to be voided will be refunded, minus $65.00 dollars for each inspection conducted.
5. Expired permits will not be eligible for a refund.
