No person shall issue or dispense a prescription drug order for a controlled substance unless it is in compliance with applicable state and federal law and rules of the board. Part of that compliance requires participating in Mandatory Checking via the Idaho AWARxE PDMP Account.

PMP Gateway – Statewide Integration
The Idaho Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP) has partnered with our vendor to integrate Idaho PMP (AWARxE) data into Idaho electronic health records (EHR) and Idaho pharmacy management systems via our vendor’s PMP Gateway platform. This empowers clinicians at the point of care with information that enables them to make more informed decisions about prescribing. Integration is not mandatory. PMP data will still be accessible through the AWARxE web portal.
