New Licensure Pathways effective July 1, 2026!

We’re excited to announce that, thanks to the passage of H0563 during the 2026 Legislative session, there are now three pathways to licensure for candidates to choose from. These new pathways will be available beginning July 1, 2026.

Education Postbaccalaureate degree with a concentration in accounting Baccalaureate degree plus an additional 30 semester hours in a program that includes an accounting concentration Baccalaureate degree in a program that includes an accounting concentration
Must include completion of at least 24 semester hours of non-introductory undergraduate accounting courses or 15 semester hours at the graduate level, or a combination. Must include completion of at least 24 semester hours in business, other than accounting courses, and 24 semester hours of non-introductory accounting courses. Must include completion of at least 24 semester hours in business, other than accounting courses, and 24 semester hours of non-introductory accounting courses.
