Exam Reference Material
For DOPL references please use the links below:
DOPL Contractors’ Business and Law Reference Manual
You can find your specific exam reference materials including a study guide blueprint in the Candidate Bulletin on PSI’s website. https://test-takers.psiexams.com/idcon/test.
You must select the exam you wish to take to view the Candidate Bulletin.

NOTE: Candidates are responsible for bringing their own reference materials to the examination center. The Contractor Reference Manual MUST be printed, hole-punched, and placed into a three-ring loose-leaf binder, prior to the scheduled examination date. While pre-exam highlighting, underlining, and permanent indexing are permitted, no writing is allowed during the examination session. Additional papers and temporary markers (e.g., Post-its) are strictly prohibited and will be confiscated.
Next Steps After Passing
After achieving a passing score, you must apply for licensure through the Idaho Division of Occupational and Professional Licenses (DOPL). For application instructions and forms, please visit the License Application page edopl.idaho.gov to create a customer account.
