The Division of Occupational and Professional Licenses administers the exams for HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning). Exams are proctored in Boise, Blackfoot, and Coeur d’Alene. For information relating to the exam you are approved to take, please refer to the exam bulletins listed below. Payment is expected at the time that you schedule. If paying with a credit/debit card, 3% service fee will be applied.
The Division of Occupational and Professional Licenses complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). If you require special accommodations, please see the instructions and application form located under the Guidelines for Requesting Special Accommodations. Requests for special accommodations must be submitted prior to the scheduling an exam.
Once you have been approved for an exam, you will have one (1) year from the date of application to schedule and take the exam. You must contact the Division of Occupational and Professional Licenses at least two (2) days prior to the date you would like to test.
