New Outfitters and New Outfitters Purchasing a Business

For new applicants and new applicants purchasing a business, please follow the below steps and provide all documents that apply. For the seller, please see the steps at the bottom of the page;

If you are adding a consumptive activity, Fish and Game will be notified.
Sellers, for a partial sale, please see the Outfitter Amendments tab.

1. Land Managers Statement – (Public Lands)
If purchasing a business the new applicant and selling outfitter will need to provide the following;

Sale Agreement
Written Area Description (if a change in existing area occurs)
Any changes in the existing operating area will need to be approved by the land manager and noted in the Land Managers Statement.
Map(s) – Location (if a change in existing area occurs)

2. Private Landowners Statement (Private Lands)
If purchasing a business the new applicant and selling outfitter will need to provide the following;

Lease Agreement
Written Area Description (if a change in existing area occurs
Any changes in the existing operating area will need to be approved by the land manager and noted in the Land Managers Statement.
Map(s) – Location (if a change in existing area occurs)

New applicants must complete item 3 or 4, whichever is applicable:

6. Disclosure Statement Regarding Criminal Conviction – A conviction includes a finding of guilt, an entry of a guilty plea by a defendant and its acceptance by the court, or a forfeiture of bail bond or collateral deposited to secure a defendant’s appearance, suspended sentence, probation or withheld judgment.

AND items 7, 8, and 9 are required for all applicants.
